Many people in this world have lost their minds with this cancel culture disorder. There was a time when we laughed, joked openly and no one was offended. Even if they were, who cares? They and we laughed at it, and we got over it and moved on. Today people are so afraid to think a certain way, be a certain way, or act a certain way. They would rather comply like obediant little slaves, than to be the expressive being that God made us to be.
Let us be real for a second, life was not meant to be taken seriously. If it had been, we would not have been created in so many different shapes and sizes. We would have never been born with the ability to laugh nor to act like jesters. Let us face the fact that cannot be disputed, and that is that laughter does truly heal the soul. It breaks the ice on tough situations and makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Before someone gets all bent out of shape and offended by my words, let me state that I grew up in a time when we joked around with each other openly, and no one stayed offended. Joking around is part of life and should not be blown out of proprotion, because someone got offended.
Let me clearly emphasize “Joking”, should not be construed with bullying, or by demeaning others with racial name calling. That should never be condoned, we are all one and the same in the eyes of God. Time surely has changed since I was a kid, and it is getting crazier and crazier with each passing day. I honestly wish I could go back in time, get on a bike with E.T and fly the heck away from this madness.
